The class focuses on understanding what is eDiscovery, how to manage and prepare for eDiscovery, best practices in the area of eDiscovery, and the critical role that a paralegal plays in ensuring that eDiscovery is properly managed and used in civil litigation for the benefit of the client. This course will provide a baseline understanding to successfully preserve, collect and review electronic data, and a foundation to support on-boarding ESI. Upon successful completion of the Final Exam students will also obtain an eDiscovery Certification Badge through ACEDs.
